In 1975, Dr. G was planning to move to Africa to start a seminary, but the colleague he was going to start it with died unexpectedly. Dr. G put his Africa plans on hold and instead accepted a professorship at Multnomah Bible College. Over the past few years, he and his students have collected and delivered 20,000 volumes to the Africa College of Theology's library. And now, after spending 37 years teaching at Multnomah, Dr. G has the opportunity to move to Africa and realize his dream of training up African leaders. In February of 2014, he'll be relocating from Portland to Rwanda to teach Bible and Theology full time at Africa College of Theology (ACT). He is being sent out by Imago Dei as our Elder on Mission, and will be directly supervised and supported by the Africa New Life mission agency while he's serving overseas.
